The dissenting DEA chemist was the one who the judge in Virginia didn't let them call it their trial but that's why their Virginia conviction wound up getting overturned on appeal. In between the time that Barrier was initially testifying for defendants and helping people get acquittals, and the time that he testified for Burton and Ben in Nevada, Barrier himself was arrested and no longer works for the DEA.
