A Brief History of Jeth El-Achmar, Syria
Jeth el-Achmar in northern Syria occupied between about 11,500 and 11,000 years ago. The village has dedicated structures for processing grain. In one of them a small circular building, four wild cattle skulls had hung from the walls before the place burned to the ground. A complete corpse was placed on the floor face down, then decapitated and the head removed elsewhere.
