What's the Relationship Between the Leadership and the Rank and File?

i'm just curious, from where you sit as a member of d s a, as some one trying to sort of figure out what organizing within the membership looks like. Sir, what is that relationship between the leadership and the rank and file? It's a cool relationship. Like we are encouraged to call our business agents and to call em, because if something happens on set, you got to call the union to come down. And i've called em several times because things weren't right onset. So it's now, i don't feel like i'm yelling like my dad or anything, or somebody within that has authority. They're part of us, even though we may not agree about
