California's End of Life Option Act
California's End of Life Option Act allows terminally ill people to end their life. The state is required to release a report with data every single year. In 2016, there were only 448 individuals in the state who chose to end their lives this way. Most of the people about 90% were over the age of 60 and had terminal cancer diagnoses.
