The Challenges of Generational Change in Operations
I use so many products that don't seem to have been changed in eight years. The other challenge I see, organizations at scale and dealing with operations is going through that big generational change of systems too. It's actually been even harder to get people to adopt in the speed by which they do things. At Salesforce, they talk about how the lightning design system, they can't deprecate things. They have to promise that everything they've ever built will continue to work. That's tough to do while still trying to move it forward and bring new things too.
