The Uncertainty Around the Big 12 TV Deal
Brett Yormark convinced the SPAN of Fox to open their negotiations early. The big 12 basically got the SPan of Fox to give them a new deal before the pack 12 could do theirs. San Diego State is just sitting there waiting for the invite, and they also have a June 30th deadline where if they don't leave by then their exit fee doubles. It was stunning that at the end of the day after all that time, the only deal he had to present to the group on August 1st was a deal with Apple TV, Apple Plus.
