Deuteronomy Chapter 18: Moses Is a Prophet Like Moses

In Deuteronomy chapter 18, God says that the king will not multiply wives for himself. That would be like a massing an army for himself and that your sons and daughters are now at his disposal. Also, he should not multiply wife for himself; that's his hard turn away. And it is literally exactly what happens to King Solomon, which is 300 wives and 700 concubines. His heart turns to serve other gods. In the next couple days looking at the Reyes to it again, I just want to encourage you to stick with this because it is important for us to understand how the Lord desires to be worshiped in the present.
