The Pros and Cons of Testing
The biggest value of testing isn't just that I can run them today, but the fact that some assumptions that I put into my code and verify it with tests will survive future modifications. Testing is one of those things where if you don't do it now, you're going to regret it eventually. It's such a huge problem to fix because now there's so much code written that it seems insurmountable. So maybe we can get that quote from him and just throw the word testing in it that can be your motto. Hopefully.
