Some small companies have so much data, especially nowadays, that that initial ticket feels very high. The more de-risk your company is, the more detailed metrics that it's expected to have. Every round, new metrics show up that you have to provide. Because there's a good chance they're already using that themselves or they could start using that through an acquisition.
