The Roman Wedding Ritual

The Romans were pretty out there, but this is not how even they did weddings. The smaller room is... and you're right, it's a funny angle. And yet independent research on Roman social customs cannot reduce a single instance of such a wedding ritual. You know, there just isn't the elaboration that we see evidenced on these walls in any connection whatsoever with any known social ritual.
