The Shannon Entropy of a Photograph

The entropy of a photograph is not thermodynamic. It's only color patterns and the look, I guess, too to geeky. We can show that it doesn't depend upon whether it's a flower or a nuclear explosion. The Shannon entropy in a photograph is going to be higher if it's a more complex image with more gradients between lighter values and darker values.
