Cleopatra was the pharaoh of Egypt, of course, for a couple of decades. There is monumental architecture relating to some of the biggest names in late ancient Egyptian history. In her time she left a mark on monumental Alexandria and subsequent to that, in much more modern times, a number of monuments have come to take on her name.
