The Supreme Court Should Care About the Original Meaning of the Constitution
Supreme Court should care about the original meaning of the Constitution, but not to the exclusion of all else. The process for enacting and ratifying the Constitution was hardly democratic and inclusive. Not a single person who is alive today voted for the Constitution. We must figure that out for ourselves, less be ruled by the dead hand of a distant past.
