The New Guidelines for Cosmetic Surgery
There's no requirement for a GP referral to go and seek that sort of treatment. But it is beholden upon the person who is giving the treatment to screen you for your psychological suitability. Zoom or telehealth is certainly appropriate for the GP referral if it's with your usual GP in particular. One of the two consultations that need to be performed before having a cosmetic surgery operation can also be performed via Zoom or video. At least one of them has to be in person so that proper physical examination and assessment of patient can take place.
