It was on by default and it was in the dash so when you pressed super it searched all your local files. It also sent those key presses the searchites of things you're searching for to a server at canonical called product search that then proxied those to third parties one of those third parties was Amazon. The problem is the results that appear in your dash the thumbnail images come from amazon servers right and so People were like hang on a minute this can tell who I am based on you know My IP addresses because the images weren’t proxied through canonical right straight from amazon So that was another problem But it was on bydefault it arrived late and the images weren't prox
