Why a Secular Solution Is Not Viable
Part of the heritage of descartes and the scientific revolution is an increasing secularization of the world. For many people, a return to religion in order to provide the multi level, multivariat, complex transformation that is needed isn't available because we are post religious. So either way you want to turn, the religious option is not a violable one. What i want to now explore is why a secular solution for many people also no longer seems violable. And it is filled with all this paradoxical tensio and contradiction that i've tried to argue is the hall mark of the cartesian legacy. I'm going to talk about them in terms of the pseudo religious ideologies. How
