The Role of Experience in Composing

Erkkoffman: I was really struck by what john was saying about having to step away in figuring out a new process or procedure if something is no longer pleasurable. And it strikes me that, for me at least, it's reminding me of what dewy says about the importance of experience and learning by doing. So, you know, so much of what is important is learning, learning to enjoy the act that one is pursuing.
