Using a Telescope to Find Planets With Tess
The idea behind finding planets with tess is we're looking for things known as transits. As a planet passes in front of that star, it will block a portion of that star's light. Theres two different types of observations tha test takes. One is known as the full frame images. So these are essentially huge pictures of the night sky that test observes. And hopefully by the end of the mission we'll have observed a hundred % of the sky over all.
