Marcus's Relationship With Christians in the Meditations

I don't think there's any overt reference to the Christians in the meditations. Yes, they were being persecuted. There was a massacre of Christians during Marcus's reign. Was he in a position to stop this? Would he have stopped it? If he could, in other words, was he sympathetic to them or hostile to them? I'm sorry, I can't answer that question.
