The 70 Year Oscillation of the Earth's Core

The slowing of the Earth's core is a gradual process, says seismologist. It would be impossible for us to stop it with nukes or anything like that in real life. There are several theories as to how often this happens and which one is best. The argument for the 70 year oscillation does have a lot of data behind it.
