The United States given President Trump's 20-point security plan for Gaza to the U.N. Security Council, and now wants it formally authorized. The key point is allowing a multi-year international force to govern the Gaza Strip through at least 2027. The plan presented to the U.N. was approved and supported by more than 20 countries, including with input from Qatar, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, at a summit in Sharm el-Sheikh on Oct.13th.
