Schools in - What Are the Axistential Issues Facing K-12 Public Education?

CNN's John Sutter talks to the school board of Los Angeles. The city is trying an innovative approach to education that has never been tried before in california. School boards must produce a yearly report on how well they are doing their job, and can't be tied down by federal money or other regulations. Schools need to embrace language learning as an asset rather than a fixed strength for schools.
