Prayer is absolutely necessary because you are helpless without god's aid. Unless he builds the house, you do labor in vain. This sovereign god actually listens to the prayers of his people. He listens to our prayers, and he answers them. So we come to him humbly in prayer, not demanding,. Not saying, hey, i did my part. You owe me god. No, no, no. We humbly ask him, lord, here are my plans. To lord, i need your help to day. I want to honour you with my work. And i want this project that i'm pouring my heart and soul, and i want it to succeed"
