The Antonine Plague is the plague that breaks out in the reign of Mokos Aurelius, so it's a second century AD plague. And we're talking about this as a Christian empire, and Procopius explains it as an act of God. When the chosen people sin in whatever way, either through heresy or a heretical leader or whatever, then of course they can expect to be punished by God from straying from the path of righteousness. So there's no suggestion that it could be, bebonic plague.
