The Rise and Fall of Mine Technology

In conventional war mines are a defensive weapon as they are now for the Russians in Ukraine on almost the same territory. For a guerrilla force mines are a very very good offensive weapon and one of the scenes you see in Vietnam memoirs I don't know how much of this is self justification but it definitely happened. There's no counter to that still there is no Counter to that that Ukraine has, so we're looking at a long war with incredible difficulty and slowness.
