Esther the Golden Sceptre
Heking held out to esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So esther drew near and touched the top of the sceptre, probably hoped that the king wouldn't notice how much her fingers were trembling as she stretched out her hand. This reminds me of jacob going to meet esau the first time in 20 years, and bowing seven times along the way,. And yet, wat how does his brother react? Whats what's with all the gifts? What's with the fear, little brother? He throws his arms around him and weeps upon his neck and treats him as one. It's amazing how much she underestimated the king's feelings for her.
