Are You Defending the Ordinary Account?
The ordinary account says that petitioning prayers attempt to persuade god to act by giving god reasons to do that which god would otherwise not have done had the prayer not been offered. The way i would define this, so i havent really defined it yet, said that it involves some sort of give and take response, some sort of change in god's plans. And theyre, yes, not just biblical scholars, nogis, theologians, bundon philosophers say the same thing. But i'm not exactly sie. I think it's deathly the case.
