How to Incentivize Your Kids to Keep Going

When the kids get a little older and if you've got several kids, it's probably nice to let one be the guide, the leader, and then rotate that position. This works very well for hiking partners of all ages. If you're a parent who loves nature, it's what a great opportunity to teach kids to be good citizens in nature. Good trail manners are very, very important. And probably an understanding that there's no word for heroics here.
