The History of Slavery in America

The way in which the circumstances from slavery to today have remained consistent, but the names themselves have changed. The reaction of the white population to any advance by African Americans or other people of color has always been by a concerted effort to reestablish the previous condition. And eventually what happened out of the reconstruction period was the creation of the Jim Crow South. When South Africa wanted to establish apartheid they went hey we don't have to make this all up. It's already there in the American South we can just copy them.
