Is Every Dashboard a Bad Thing?

Having a bazillion dashboards creates a whole bunch of noise and does not help us narrow in on the signal. What I want to see is a view counter on every dashboard so you can see where the people are actually looking at it. Let's stop building a bazillions dashboards that no one ever looks at. Dashboards are not the answer. They are a tool. Which can be helpful in some situations. And inconsistency across environments, particularly between production and non-preproduction environments.
