The Problem With Uninsured Deposits in the Banking Crisis

Fintech technology can pull out our deposits very quickly, but what really is the problem with this particular banking crisis is the high concentration of uninsured deposits. We have banks, Silicon Valley Bank had over 90% exposure to uninsured deposits and by their very nature, uninsured deposits are not sensitive to FDIC insurance. So they move fast to go on to a better opportunity, or they get spooked and they kind of all move in tandem. And that's what we saw in this most recent banking crisis.
