Using Citizenship With Power

I wanted to have a term that could cover these debates and show that people could be both disempowered on one level, but empowered in another. And I think using combining citizenship with power is a really useful way of doing it because we already understand power to mean to be associated with disability. It enabled me to turn to the, to the ways in which we should really try to imagine disabled identities, it both in and through culture. The language has a very important part to play there.
