What Is Inflation?

There's a lot of misconceptions about inflation, and so I wanted to give some examples of what inflation is not. So first of all, inflation is not just big numbers or subdividing. Just because it's bigger numbers doesn't mean that it's inflation. Inflation is happening when the value of your dollar is going down over time.
