The Spirit of Service

He'd expected to serve by curing and rescuing his patients as physicians do but when their problems prove resistant to his whole modern medical expertise he felt useless. But maybe he was not meant to be there to cure people. Perhaps he was there so that no one would die without someone to pray for them. So this really asks us what is the spirit that we bring to the work that we do? Can it be an act of service? Can it Be an act of awakening? And you can't really measure the outcome so much but you can measure your heart.
