I've Become More Professionally Focused on Long-Termism and AI Risk
I have become more professionally focused on what's called long-termism which is trying to have an impact on things that could matter for humanity's whole future and I have especially become interested in AI and AI risk this is largely a personal decision. This is not the same as coming to believe that this work is the only stuff that matters and that is not what I believe you know. My sort of system of ethics would be a topic for another time but I basically do not agree with arguments that because there's so many people in the future that that's overwhelmingly important compared to things we can do today.
