Every sensory input you get, not just vision, but touch and hearing, you have an expectation about it. It's almost like a precondition of just perceiving the world is predicting everything that you see are first passed through your prediction. Our predictions are test. Is this really a water bottle? If it is, I shouldn't see, you know, a little finger sticking out the side. And if I saw alittle finger sticking, I was like, what the hell's going on? It's not normal. You can't predict something unless you have a model of it.
