The Ten Commandments - What's the Solution?
Rata: gerard's discussion of the ten commandments focuses on the social prohibitions, but i think it would actually be helped if he spent some more time on the first half of the decalogue. Rata deals with that, but infully effectv way, by distinguishing between what he calls internal mediation and external mediation. External mediation is loving god and honoring your father and mother. An external mediation can lead to a better civilization, better structures. But still the problem is he can't really account for that, except that it's external and higher.
