The Evolution of the Bantoo Languages
The expansion of the bantoo languages has been debated for decades. What's really been debated, although i think it's perhaps settling a bit more on on a shortened chronology, is betime dapling. This is also a processs taking place over just a few millennia, which is really really astounding. And my own sense of where the pendulum is swinging on this one is that actually, it's not just that the vento expansion was an incredibly huge demographic event in terms of size of language family.
