The Supply and Demand of Investment

The world is not creating or leveraging new technologies at the same rate it was 50 years ago. When I teach my class, I show them the market for savings and investment. The supply curve shifts out because partly because inequality has gone up. And then I have the demand curve shifts in, which is for any given amount of investment, there's fewer projects that have a higher rate of return.
