Is GA4 the Next Big Thing?

I would say that the approach that they took is not as good as it could have been. It feels like the platform right now is created by developers for developers. Most businesses will still migrate to GA4 because there are a lot of, there's a very helpful community. The biggest money is probably in that segment that is happy or at least that could be happy with GA4 when it comes to Google Cloud and BigQuery.
