The Old Faith and the Valderman

The Old Faith is a loose coalition of mages who practice pagan, druidic, and similar beliefs of pre-Christian Europe. Their strong belief in the importance of nature and its cycles leads them to usually live outside of cities. The Order of Hermes may be the most formal and organized of all fellowships. Like many later mage books, this book repeatedly mentions the pride of hermetic mages. In 1230 the Massassa War with the Tremere Vampires is either winding down or shifting to a less intensive shadow war.
