The Meme Solves Problems for People
The meme propagates by being copied into the minds of other people. Why would a good meme resonate when it solves problems for people? Memes, ideas, knowledge, understanding the stuff all come under that same umbrella. So yeah, if the meme is useful, if it solves a problem, then it's going to resonate with other humans. And solving the problem doesn't have to be like, well, solving some engineering problem or something like this. It can be solving the problem of what's fun, what makes you laugh. Well, that jokes will get spread and the literal internet memes will spread because they're curing boredom.
