Sally Kohn: We need some kind of clash of different experiences in order to have a sense of our own experiences. She says mixed race groups that are trying to understand racism better end up becoming groups for people of color to educate white people. Kohn: I don't fully agree the line that it's not the responsibility of people of colour to educate white folks. But I do think that there are people who are talented at that, she says.
