The Importance of Dignity in the Details

It's a place that would have been a really. wonderful place if there'd have been jobs, but it's incredibly remote. There was only one industry and then that closed. And no other jobs came to town. But they just caught that place at the wrong time. All you can do as a writer is be a chronicler sometimes. I'm also a visual thinker. Most people who read the book would never have been to Glasgow,. didn't know who Thatcher was, might have never had come into contact with addiction.
