Tweety was the original great Twitter client, built in a period where building this kind of app wasn't easy. Lauren Brookter invented pull to refresh, which is now like a standard iOS UI control. The Twitter for iPad was one of the most innovative, beautifully designed iPad apps with the sliding panels and nested navigation that was really taken advantage of the iPad's display.
