This week's episode of Gorilla History focuses on sources and methods. In an appendix to his book, Dr Vijay Prashad talks about CIA documents used in the study of assassinations from 1954. He says that while writing is a useful mechanism right it serves a certain bureaucratic purpose or and you have to write down instructions not everything can be committed to memory early. The most important documents are never written because they aren't necessarily committed to paper.
