The Government's Recovery Plan for General Practice
Since 2019, the government had grown the general practice workforce by 27%. But number of fully qualified full-time equivalent GPs has actually dropped by more than a thousand. BMA said that unless GP practices are given time, investment and support to deliver their core services, then they're just being set up to fail.
