Is There a Time for Radical Solutions?
The time for half solutions is passed. It's clear the country needs it. The country wants it. It's asking for it. Enough is enough. What kind? There is an environmental crisis. There is a climate problem. But ultimately, it's also a social problem. Everything goes back to that. We need human responses to how we organize our relations in order to deal with it. Price controls to begin to answer some of the questions more directly. A form of regulation. Regulation as teeth and delivers in our interests. That regulation means controlling price and controlling quantity because that mean denying the market. How you do it, it depends on the market. You do it differently in energy.
