Damon Targaryen - A Different Kind of Violence

There's a difference again between watching a dragon battle or like some sort of heightened fantastical violence and something that is very, very familiar to people who have experienced domestic violence in their life. The show doesn't excuse their choices, but provides context and allows the audience to choose any degree of empathy for potentially villainous character because the context is there. I don't think the show would ever try to condone anything that Damon does here.
