Adaptive or Not? That's the Question.
I was, it's interesting that this idea of superorganisms and what an organism is and what job superorganisms does versus just calling it organism. But I guess the fact remains that a lot of people do prefer to think of it in terms of individual organisms. So now we're moving over to cultural evolution. And when we look at religious systems from an evolutionary perspective, I like to think that I'm approaching it the way an evolutionary biologist does. Pick a religious trait, are we gonna explain it? And it's like a decision tree.
